Psalm Shapes

The Psalms give us a language for prayer. Like the snowflakes in winter, they cover a range of emotion and life experience: calming, chaotic, and complex. We give thanks and praise for the calming peace or our Lord, our good Shepherd, as we receive His loving care. We call out for help and strength in the chaos, the storms, the blizzards of life. And we stand in awe as we observe the complexity of His creation—the “The heavens declare the glory of God.”
